NORH Martin Brevik

Martin is a naturally friendly buck with great structure and an excellent growth rate. He is an offspring from an A.I. breeding and his sire is New Zealand Cashmere's McCaw. Because of this breeding we expect he will have very nice cashmere. Martin has pedigree registration in the Cashmere Goat Association. Martin's dam-sire is NORH Estman (registered).

Martin is a carrier for both red and chocolate. His FAMACHA scores are great with no deworming needed. Hooves are excellent.

Martin has one descended testicle and for this reason we are also willing to offer him as a wether. He is not a proven buck, however, we believe given the lineage and growth characteristics he is worth using and evaluating offspring.

Our goats are raised on silvopasture with low management using portable electric net fencing. We vaccinate for Clostridium perfringens type C and D (overeating disease) and Clostridium tetani (tetanus). All health records are recorded and shared with buyer. Buyers also have a copy of our written herd health plan which outlines timing and management practices. All goats come microchipped with a scrapie-approved (840) microchip in their left ear. This replaces the need for plastic/metal tags and ear tattoos and can be used in registries and for interstate transport.
